Shaylene Fuimaono - Epoch - Class of 2021
One of the all-time greats in Epoch history, Shaylene was the only player to play on the 18u Gold team all four years. Shay resides at the top of just about every offensive statistical category, both single season and career for Epoch. As a captain and leader of the organization, Shay was the team's key motivator, not only with her inspirational pre-game speeches, but also with her aggressive and passionate play each and every game. Her ability to hold down any position on the field was invaluable to solidify the defense, and her unmatched raw power at the plate was a key factor in many of Epoch's successes.
Unfortunately, Shay was one of the many players who's senior year was derailed by the pandemic. Fortunately, she will have the opportunity to continue her stellar softball career at the collegiate level, as she begins classes, and practices, at CSBU in the Fall of 2021.
